A prototype PCB has gone to fab, will report progress when it comes back. In the meantime, great news that Broadcom have released datasheet on peripherals. http://dmkenr5gtnd8f.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/BCM2835-ARM-Peripherals.pdf Had better get writting middleware layers.
It’s been a couple of weeks, but we’ve got the PCBs back and populated them. We’ve tested them and they work 16 channels per board for the Raspberry Pi to control! You can daisy chain the boards too, so you could control about 600 channels!
The final versions might look a bit different as we make them even more exciting.
We’ve also started writing kernel drivers for them — we’ll post the link to github soon.
